Lauren Ash Morgan is Founding Co-Artistic Director for the newly formed theater company Speech of Fire and served as the Artistic Director for Seoul Shakespeare Company (SSC) from 2014 through 2019. She's been an actor as well as a board member for SSC from 2011. In her role as Artistic Director at SSC she also served as SSC's costume designer, producer composer/music director and text coach. However, she mostly directed from within the actors' ensemble, during the final year of her tenure, she began her career as a director (and lighting designer) with the company's King Lear.
